Thank you very much for your letter. I was quite moved that you found it in your heart to ask for forgiveness. The first steps in life to being a better person is realising our mistakes and saying sorry is as much important. I really do not blame you for all that I had to go through; in fact I have never held any bitterness towards you at any point in time. The Bible is quite clear that we should forgive. Remember I am sure in Sunday school at some point they taught you the story of the thieves who hung on their crosses together with Jesus. One of these thieves realising his life’s errors asked for Jesus to forgive his sins. The son of man did not hesitate to promise him a place in the heavens. Jesus did not look at his past or history, every one of us is not perfect and we all have a past. We cannot therefore hold people to the past. As the clock strikes midnight, we live that day to the past and never recover it again. Why then should we bring about to resurrection the errors of yesterday? My sister in Christ, I forgave you long back the only thing that is left is for you to forgive yourself as well.
Do not worry about how life has turned out for you. Just let go and give your life to the potter’s hand. It’s amazing how God finds reason to answer our prayers. He just needs us to be faithful and walk with him. It’s at our lowest point that he tends to show off. Yes, I admit I am Gods anointed, the apple of his eye, but so are you too. We all are precious to the creator. You may not see purpose or reason at the moment but when nothing seems to be moving, when you need strength, just say to the situation, I don’t mind waiting on the Lord. He is ever faithful.
I am glad that you wrote and we got to talk. Women go through a lot my dear and as such we have to stay strong, find strength within us and find comfort that someone out there wants to give us a hope and a future. Be encouraged, in every life there will be rain, but God works everything for our greater good. You will not have to cry for ever. Count it all joy in every situation.

So true! I love this post. It is truly when life seems to be giving us the worst possible scenario(s) that the LORD can be felt the most. I know that has been the case in my life. It’s hard to see when you’re in the pit, but it is definitely an opportunity to grow closer to God.
